Regular Season Round 25: Toulouse - Angers 65-73

NM1 top team - Etoile Angers (18-6) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat tenth ranked Toulouse (10-14) 73-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Toulouse. Etoile Angers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Kyle Tresnak (209-92, college: Weber St.) nailed 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and Alexis Desespringalle (192-91) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Adrien Thimon (188-94) came up with 17 points and Guinean center Mohamed Queta (208-95) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for Toulouse in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Etoile Angers maintains first place in Group A with 18-6 record. Loser Toulouse keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Etoile Angers will meet at home Dax-Gamarde (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Toulouse will play against JSA Bordeaux and hope to secure a win.
