Regular Season Round 25: Tours - Lourdes 74-61

Very expected game when 11th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (8-17) lost on the road to third ranked Tours (18-7) 74-61 on Friday. It was a very good performance for American swingman Jordan Hicks (201-90, college: Loyola, IL, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Ivorian swingman Guy-Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Promotex) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Tours players scored in double figures. Guard Frederic Loubaki (197-97, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 14 points and 4 assists and Jamaican Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Lourdes-Tarbes. Lourdes-Tarbes' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tours moved-up to second place in Group A. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Tours will face La Rochelle (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against Caen and hope to win that game.
