Regular Season Round 37: Toyoda Gosei - Tokyo CR 104-110

Leading Toyoda Gosei (27-10) recorded its tenth loss in Aichi. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Tokyo CR (14-24) 110-104. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Toyoda Gosei. Tokyo CR well out of reach of Toyoda Gosei shooting 71.7 percent from the field and made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Tokyo CR especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Toyoda Gosei was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi) nailed 41 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 9 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) for the winning side and center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) accounted for 28 points and 7 rebounds. JD Weatherspoon (198-92, college: Toledo) came up with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Luke Evans (203-91, college: CBU) added 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for Toyoda Gosei in the defeat. Five Toyoda Gosei players scored in double figures. Toyoda Gosei's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo CR moved-up to ninth place. Toyoda Gosei at the other side still keeps top position with ten games lost. They share it with Saga B.. Tokyo CR's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tokyo .
