Regular Season Round 20: Zamora - Xiria 93-76

There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Xiria (5-12) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Zamora (4-13) 93-76 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Gambian Alasan Mbowe (203-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Kilian Riverol (175-95) who added 25 points during the contest. Four Zamora players scored in double figures. Forward Ruben Rey (198-93) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds and Senegalese center Alioune Senghor (200-96) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Zamora maintains thirteenth position in Group A-B with 4-13 record. Newly promoted Xiria keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Zamora will face league's leader Carbajosa on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
