Regular Season Round 25: Saint Vallier - Orchies 79-67

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Saint Vallier (20-5) defeated at home 7th ranked Orchesien BC (13-11) 79-67 on Saturday. Saint Vallier dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Orchesien BC's 26. Saint Vallier forced 20 Orchesien BC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for Moroccan forward Karim Gourari (203-89) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Alexandre Karolak (192-95) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Malcolm Gountas (189-94) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and guard Simon Cretaux (190-89) added 21 points in the effort for Orchesien BC. Saint Vallier maintains second place in Group B with 20-5 record having just three point less than leader Angers. Loser Orchesien BC keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Saint Vallier will face Besancon (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Orchesien BC will play against GET Vosges (#10) and hope to win that game.
