Regular Season Round 42: Bambitious N. - Aomori W. 89-99

There was a minor upset in Nara where their close opponent Bambitious N. (17-25) was defeated by fourth ranked Aomori W. (19-22) 99-89 on Saturday. Aomori W. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was South Sudanese-American forward Angelo Chol (206-93, college: San Diego St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists. American swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) who recorded a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aomori W. maintains fourth position with 19-22 record which they share with defeated Bambitious N. Bambitious N. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 25 games lost. Aomori W. will have a break next round. Bambitious N. will play again at home against Aomori W. (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
