Leader Tigersharks delivered the fourth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Dream Ballers (1-3) 93-56 in San Pedro. Tigersharks held Dream Ballers to an opponent 23.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.7 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Dream Ballers 66-34 including a 24-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tigersharks looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Dream Ballers' players. The best player for the winners was international forward Jihad Wright (193-93, college: UNC Pembroke) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: LBSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Four Tigersharks players scored in double figures. Tigersharks' coach Rico Black felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Branden Sheppard (203-96, college: William Carey, agency: One Motive Sports) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Edgar Mitchell (-93) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Tigersharks have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-1 record, which they share with Belize City D. Dream Ballers at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Belmopan B. and Panthers. Tigersharks is looking forward to face Running Rebels (#4) in Belize City in the next round. Dream Ballers will have a break next round.
