Regular Season Round 37: Kanazawa - Kagoshima 93-85

Bottom-ranked Kanazawa managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against seventh-ranked Kagoshima in Ishikawa 93-85. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Bahamas center Gjio Bain (212-85, college: S.Mississippi) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four Kanazawa players scored in double figures. Kanazawa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Shelton Boykin (198-92, college: Angelo St.) answered with 39 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Chris Washburn (203-93, college: TCU) added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Kagoshima. Kanazawa maintains twelfth place with 7-30 record. Kagoshima at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 20 games lost. Kanazawa's next round opponent will be again higher ranked Kagoshima (#8) in Renova and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
