Bottom-ranked Maccabi Ashdod managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they edged fourth-ranked Maccabi Haifa 91-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi Haifa. American-Mexican point guard Paul Stoll (180-85) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Alexey Chubrevich (212-86) chipped in 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest.
