Regular Season Round 22: Almansa - Oviedo 81-64

Very expected game when 16th ranked Oviedo CB (7-15) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Almansa (10-12) 81-64 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Almansa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Stephen Maxwell (201-93, college: CSUN, agency: Two Points) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Almansa players scored in double figures. Almansa's coach Ruben Perello used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side power forward Devin Wright (202-86) responded with 9 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Rolandas Jakstas (202-92) scored 11 points. Almansa moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Ourense. Loser Oviedo CB keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Almansa will face higher ranked Palencia Baloncesto (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Oviedo CB will play against Castello (#12) and hope to win that game.
