There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Martos (5-13) outleveled at home 7th ranked Benahavis (6-12) 97-62 on Saturday. Martos dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Benahavis' 30. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian power forward Luka Kraljic (206-99) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Gaston Zalazar (-96) who added 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals during the contest. Four Martos players scored in double figures. Coach Antonio Navas's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Canadian forward Evan Pellerin (199-82, college: Stonehill) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and David Garca (202-94) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Martos moved-up to ninth place in Group D-A. Benahavis lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
