Rather predictable result in Piadena where tenth ranked Corona Platina (10-12) edged 12th ranked Olginate (8-14) 92-89 on Saturday. Point guard Andrea Leone (186-94) fired 22 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots) for the winners. Swingman Edoardo Giovara (200-93) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Giuseppe Basile (188-95) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Mirko Gloria (203-95) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Corona Platina and four Olginate players scored in double figures. Corona Platina moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with LTC Sangiorg. Loser Olginate keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Corona Platina will face LTC Sangiorg. (#10) in San Giorgio in the next round.
