DR Congolese power forward Ginette Mfutila (190-88, agency: Promotex) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Naomi Davenport (183, college: WVU) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import center Latoya Williams (192-87, college: Chipola JC) added 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks in the effort for Katarzynki. Katarzynki's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Enea AZS P. moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Widzew. Katarzynki lost their third game in a row. Enea AZS P. will face higher ranked AZS Gorzow (#3) in Gorzow Wlkp. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
