Leader ASEFA Estudiantes delivered the seventeenth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 13th ranked ADBA (2-16) 85-48 in Aviles. ASEFA Estudiantes dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to ADBA's 24. They outrebounded ADBA 44-24 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American Leslie Knight (184-86, college: Minnesota) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Irene San-Roman (180-92) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Portuguese point guard Marcia Carvalho (170-92) who recorded 17 points and American forward Deangelique Waithe (183, college: LIU Brooklyn) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
