Regular Season Round 21: Alvik Basket - Team4Q 93-75

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Alvik Basket (10-9) won against 7th ranked Team4Q (6-14) in Stockholm 93-75 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Alvik Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a good game for swingman David Jolinder (194-1) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Marcus Johnson-Jr (180-95, college: UALR) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Cypriot point guard Sasha Vural (185-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Alexander Nilsson (208-90) added 19 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Team4Q. Four Team4Q players scored in double figures. Alvik Basket maintains fifth place with 10-9 record. Newly promoted Team4Q keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Alvik Basket are looking forward to face higher ranked Taby Basket (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Team4Q will play against the league's second-placed IK Eos and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
