Regular Season Round 17: Kronos AD - Dafni Agioy 67-61

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Dafni Agioy (6-11) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Kronos AD (6-11) 67-61. Kronos AD outrebounded Dafni Agioy 38-22 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kronos AD especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Brooke Johnson (183-96, college: UNLV) nailed 24 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Kayla Gordon (183-95, college: Jacksonville) accounted for 12 points and 19 rebounds. Center Kelsey Lang (197-95, college: Texas) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Mikayla Cowling (188-96, college: California) added 17 points respectively for Dafni Agioy in the defeat. Kronos AD moved-up to eighth place, which they share with PAOK and Dafni Agioy. Kronos AD will play against higher ranked Panathinaikos (#3) in Athens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dafni Agioy will play at home against Melissia (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
