An interesting game for Maccabi T-A (17-1) which hosted in Tel-Aviv 3rd ranked Rishon (12-7). First ranked Maccabi T-A managed to get a 11-point victory 75-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rishon. They outrebounded Rishon 41-25 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Greek-American Tyler Dorsey (193-96, college: Oregon, agency: Wasserman) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Liberian-American center Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee Services) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward James Kelly (201-93, college: Marshall, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 18 points and his fellow American import guard Alex Hamilton (193-93, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: 3Eye) added 11 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Rishon. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-1 record. Rishon at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Maccabi T-A are looking forward to face Galil Gilboa (#8) in Rosh Pina in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rishon will play at home against Ironi Nahariya (#6) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
