Not a big story in a game in Zizur Mayor where 11th ranked Tabirako (7-12) was defeated by fifth ranked Ardoi (12-7) 78-68 on Sunday. Ardoi dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Tabirako's 26. They outrebounded Tabirako 45-29 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and center Andres Zabaleta (200-94) who added 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Ardoi's coach Juancho Ferreira used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Miguel Zamora (189-93) responded with 18 points and point guard Aitor Calle (178-93) scored 12 points and 4 steals. Four Tabirako players scored in double figures. Ardoi moved-up to fourth place in Group A-A, which they share with Easo. Tabirako lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Ardoi will face Nissan Burgos (#6) on the road in the next round. Tabirako will play against Valle de Egues (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
