There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Bergamo Bsk (5-19) beat higher ranked 2B Control TR (14-10) in Trapani 78-72 on Sunday. Bergamo Bsk made 21-of-21 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Bergamo Bsk outrebounded 2B Control TR 38-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American swingman Jeffrey Carroll (198-94, college: Oklahoma St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line).
