Regular Season Round 16: KFUM Fry. 2 - Eskilstuna 85-89 OT

KFUM Fry. 2 (#8) forced the game against Eskilstuna (#7) into an overtime, but lost by four points 85-89 on Sunday night. The game took place in Stockholm. But the guests from Eskilstuna were better at the end. KFUM Fry. 2 was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 27-23 charge of Eskilstuna, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 7-3. Eskilstuna forced 21 KFUM Fry. 2 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Henrik Aronsson (183-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and forward Pontus Lennartsson (198-93) who added 15 points and 18 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Elias Weibert responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and Todor Nisavic scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five Eskilstuna and four KFUM Fry. 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Eskilstuna maintains seventh position in South with 6-7 record. KFUM Fry. 2 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. Eskilstuna will face league's second-placed Kalmar at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
