Rather expected game when 12th ranked Kaysersberg (5-20) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked Mulhouse (12-13) 94-73 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for Canadian forward Guillaume Boucard (198-90, college: Carleton) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds. Central African power forward Johan Grebongo (204-94) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Center Melvyn Govindy (212-97) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian guard Dovydas Redikas (193-92) added 7 points and 5 assists in the effort for Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg's coach Fabien Drago gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Mulhouse maintains ninth place in Group B with 12-13 record. Loser Kaysersberg keeps the twelfth position with 20 games lost. Mulhouse will face higher ranked La Charite (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kaysersberg will play against Andrezieux (#8) and hope to win that game.
