Important game to mention about took place in Windsor. Second ranked Sudbury F. (10-7) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Windsor Express (6-9) 116-114 in the game for the second place. Sudbury F. shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Windsor Express were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Marlon Johnson (208-94, college: N.Mexico Highlands) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. The other American import forward JR Holder (201-94, college: Jacksonville) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American Quinnel Brown (198-83, college: Auburn) replied with 23 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Kemy Osse (185-93, college: UALR) added 19 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Windsor Express. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sudbury F. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-7 record having just three points less than leader Moncton M. Windsor Express lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with nine games lost. Sudbury F. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Windsor Express will play at home against Titans and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
