Rather expected game in Kazrin where 10th ranked Maccabi Raanana (7-12) was defeated by eighth ranked H.Galilee (10-9) 82-73 on Tuesday. H.Galilee made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Wayne Langston (201-93, college: Murray St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Jerry Evans (203-90, college: Nevada) helped adding 19 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Yair Kravits (193-99) responded with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard Antino Jackson (182-96, college: N.Mexico, agency: Slash Sports) scored 16 points and 9 assists. Five H.Galilee and four Maccabi Raanana players scored in double figures. H.Galilee moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Hod Hasharon. Loser Maccabi Raanana dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. H.Galilee will face league's second-placed H.Haifa on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maccabi Raanana will play against Hapoel H/M (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
