The game in Beograd supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Slovenian Celje (12-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Serbian Partizan (4-12). Celje smashed Partizan 94-68. The game without a history. Celje led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Partizan's 40. Celje forced 25 Partizan turnovers and outrebounded them 34-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was a very good performance for Serbian Snezana Bogicevic (177-97) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. American guard Taeler Deer (165-96, college: Texas St.) contributed with 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Celje players scored in double figures. Milica Indjic (-92) replied with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Bosnian swingman Jovana Stojanovic (178-96) added 9 points in the effort for Partizan. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Slovenian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Beroe. Partizan lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. Celje's next round opponent will be league's leader Montana 2003 at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Partizan will play against Buducnost (#4) in Podgorica and hope to win that game.
