Regular Season Round 115: OKC Thunder - Denver N. 113-101

Date: February 21, 2020
The most crucial game of the last day was another loss of top-ranked Nuggets (39-17) in Oklahoma City on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Thunder (34-22) 113-101. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Thunder made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Nuggets turnovers. It was a great evening for New Zealand power forward Steven Adams (213-93, college: Pittsburgh) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. Point guard Chris Paul (183-85, college: Wake Forest) helped adding 29 points. Five Thunder players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Canadian swingman Jamal Murray (198-97, college: Kentucky) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Nuggets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Thunder moved-up to second place, which they share with Dallas M. Nuggets at the other side still keep top position with 17 games lost.
