An interesting game was also surprising home defeat of 4th ranked Alcobendas in a game versus Leganes (#7) 91-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Alcobendas. It was an exceptional evening for American-U.S. Virgin Islands guard Imani Tate (175-95, college: Albany) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 5 assists. Montenegrin power forward Kristina Rakovic (186-94) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Rachel Howard (178-95, college: USF) came up with 29 points and the other American import forward Kiara Kudron (188-94, college: Gonzaga) added 17 points respectively for Alcobendas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leganes (12-7) moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with RC Celta. Loser Alcobendas keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Real Canoe. Leganes will meet at home league's second-placed Universitario de Ferrol in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Alcobendas will play against Real Celta Vigo and hope to secure a win.
