Regular Season Round 21: Arenys - Calvia 51-61

There was a small surprise in Arenys del Mar where tenth ranked Calvia (7-12) won against 7th ranked Arenys (7-12) 61-51 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was center Antoni Vicens (204-90) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Jaume Valles (203-95) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Saikou Diallo (187-98) who recorded 11 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Roger Almuni (204-89) added 5 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Calvia moved-up to eighth place in Group C-A, which they share with Arenys and Esparreguera. Calvia will face higher ranked Martinenc (#4) in Barcelona in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
