Regular Season Round 21: Igualada - SESE 76-77

The most exciting game of round 21 in the EBA took place in Igualada. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-best Igualada (15-4) to fifth ranked SESE (12-7) 77-76 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Igualada. SESE made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Ferran Lopez (190-97) who scored 19 points. Jordi de-Ugarte chipped in 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Eduard Burges (189-90) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and power forward Roger Perez (203-96) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. SESE maintains fifth place in Group C-A with 12-7 record. Igualada at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. SESE are looking forward to face Andorra II (#11) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Igualada will play against Martorell (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
