Regular Season Round 22: Team4Q - IK Eos 95-90

There was an upset in Helsingborg where much higher ranked IK Eos (17-5) were defeated by seventh ranked Team4Q (7-14) 95-90 on Saturday. IK Eos were trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 30-24 charge of Team4Q, which allowed them to win the game. Team4Q shot 25 for 39 from the free-throw line, while IK Eos only scored nine points from the stripe. They outrebounded IK Eos 53-31 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. IK Eos were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) scored 29 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Danish forward Mads Rasmussen (198-88) chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Team4Q players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and guard David Niklasson (193-95, college: N.Platte CC) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. IK Eos' coach Xavier Hernandez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Team4Q maintains seventh position with 7-14 record. IK Eos at the other side keep the second place with five games lost. Team4Q will have a break next round. IK Eos will play at home against Hogsbo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
