Very predictable result when second ranked Faenza (16-3) beat on the road 13th ranked Viterbo (4-15) 55-40 on Saturday. Faenza forced 28 Viterbo turnovers. Guard Greta Brunelli (176-90) fired 17 points for the winners. Point guard Federica Franceschelli (180-97) chipped in 4 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Faenza's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Center Adriana Cutrupi (186-96) produced 8 points and 12 rebounds and Bulgarian power forward Katrin Stoichkova (180-99) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Faenza maintains second position in A2 with 16-3 record having five points less than leader Moncalieri. Newly promoted Viterbo keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Faenza will face HS Lab (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Viterbo will play against Umbertide and hope to win that game.
