Very important is a road loss of third ranked Orange Vikings (23-22) against fifth ranked Fukushima (15-28) on Sunday night. Visiting Orange Vikings were defeated by Fukushima in a tough game in Fukushima 67-71. It was a good game for American forward Shaheed Davis (206-94, college: UCF) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 20 rebounds. American-Jamaican forward Staphon Blair (206-93, college: UCF) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Fukushima's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds and American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) added 14 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Orange Vikings. Fukushima have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 15-28 record. Orange Vikings at the other side keep the third position with 22 games lost. They share it with FE Nagoya. Fukushima will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Orange Vikings will play at home against the league's leader Dragonflies and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
