Regular Season Round 17: Sesvete - Omis-Cagalj T. 78-88

Very expected game in Zagreb where 10th ranked Sesvete (6-10) was defeated by fourth ranked Omis-Cagalj T. (10-7) 88-78. They made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Omis-Cagalj T. outrebounded Sesvete 47-28 including a 34-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Ivan Mimica (190-80) nailed 33 points (!!!) and 8 assists for the winning side and Josip Matijevic (-96) accounted for 22 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks. Dario Papak came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and Swedish Philip Babic (-94) added 12 points and 9 assists respectively for Sesvete in the defeat. Four Sesvete players scored in double figures. Omis-Cagalj T. moved-up to third place, which they share with Cedevita Jr. Sesvete at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Dubrovnik. Omis-Cagalj T. will play against league's leader Jazine in Zadar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sesvete's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena Bulldogs.
