Fourth-ranked Pistons (19-39) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Trail Blazers (26-32) in Portland. Trail Blazers managed to secure only three-point victory 107-104. However their fans expected easier game. It was a good game for guard CJ McCollum (193-91, college: Lehigh) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 12 assists. Carmelo Anthony (203-84, college: Syracuse) contributed with 32 points for the winners. Forward Christian Wood (208-95, college: UNLV, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 26 points and 9 rebounds and guard Langston Galloway (188-91, college: St.Joseph's) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Pistons. Four Pistons players scored in double figures. Pistons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trail Blazers maintains fourth place with 26-32 record which they share with defeated Pistons. Pistons lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 39 games lost.
