Regular Season Round 17: Hogland - Huddinge 82-69

Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Hogland (7-6) beat at home 10th ranked Huddinge (1-14) 82-69 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. The best player for the winners was center Erik Kall (208-1) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Joel Ekenstierna (193-1) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Hogland players scored in double figures. David Hermes produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and Amund Morin added 16 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Hogland maintains sixth place in South with 7-6 record. Loser Huddinge keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Hogland will face league's leader RIG Mark in Kinna in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Huddinge will play on the road against Talje Knights (#3) and hope to win that game.
