The most exciting game of round 18 in the A1 took place in Athens. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Sporting (9-9) to seventh ranked Niki Lefkadas (8-10) 79-77 on Sunday evening. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Niki Lefkadas moved-up to sixth place. Sporting at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Niki Lefkadas are looking forward to face league's leader Olympiacos in Pireus in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sporting will play on the road against Esperides (#9) in Glyfada and is hoping to win this game.
