Very predictable result in Zaragoza where fourth ranked Valencia (14-7) smashed 9th ranked Mann Filter (9-12) 69-42 on Sunday. Valencia dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Mann Filter's 22. Valencia forced 19 Mann Filter turnovers and outrebounded them 37-21 including 28 on the defensive glass. Guard Roso Buch (179-92) stepped up and scored 13 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners and American forward Joy Brown (180-93, college: Iona) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was center Umo Diallo (192-98) with 10 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Vega Gimeno (185-91, college: RMU) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds.
