Third-ranked Wizards (20-36) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Bucks (49-8) in Washington. The visitors from Milwaukee managed to secure only three-point victory 137-134. However their fans expected easier game. Bucks made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Wizards were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) scored 40 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Eric Bledsoe (185-89, college: Kentucky) chipped in 23 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Bucks' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Bradley Beal (196-93, college: Florida) responded with 55 points (!!!) and Puerto Rican-American point guard Shabazz Napier (185-91, college: UConn) scored 27 points and 7 assists. Five Bucks and four Wizards players scored in double figures. Bucks have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 49-8 record. Wizards lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 36 games lost. Bucks will play against league's leader Raptors in Toronto in the next day and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wizards will have a break next day.
