Rather expected game when 5th ranked Hawks (17-43) lost to second ranked Magic (26-32) in Atlanta 120-130 on Wednesday. Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Magic made 9 blocks. It was a good game for Aaron Gordon (206-95, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. French Evan Fournier (198-92) contributed with 28 points and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Trae Young (188-98, college: Oklahoma) replied with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 assists and U.S. Virgin Islands-American John Collins (208-97, college: Wake Forest) added 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Hawks. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Hawks' coach tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Magic maintains second position with 26-32 record having fifteen points less than leader Toronto R. Loser Hawks keep the fifth place with 43 games lost.
