Very important is a home loss of second ranked WKK Wroclaw (16-6) against eleventh ranked Polonia Leszno (10-13) on Wednesday night. Host WKK Wroclaw was crushed by Polonia Leszno in Wroclaw 87-66. Polonia Leszno players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (210-93) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points respectively for WKK Wroclaw in the defeat. Five Polonia Leszno and four WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. WKK Wroclaw's coach Tomasz Niedbalski gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Polonia Leszno have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Pruszkow. WKK Wroclaw at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Polonia Leszno will play against higher ranked Sokol Lancut (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WKK Wroclaw will play against the league's leader Gornik having rather not much hope for a victory.
