The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Heat (36-22) in Miami on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Timberwolves (17-40) 129-126. Timberwolves forced 21 Heat turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Timberwolves made 8 blocks. It was a good game for DAngelo Russell (196-96, college: Ohio St.) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Malik Beasley (196-96, college: FSU) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Timberwolves' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Kendrick Nunn (190-95, college: Oakland, agency: Pensack Sports) added 24 points and 6 assists in the effort for Heat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Timberwolves maintains fifth position with 17-40 record. Heat at the other side still keeps top place with 22 games lost. They share the position with OKC Thunder.
