Regular Season Round 121: OKC Thunder - Sacramento K. 112-108

An exciting game was played in Oklahoma City. Second ranked Thunder faced 3rd placed Kings. Host Thunder (37-22) defeated guests from Sacramento (24-34) 112-108. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kings. Kings were plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Italian Danilo Gallinari (208-88) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Chris Paul (183-85, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 17 points and 7 assists for the winners. Serbian Nemanja Bjelica (209-88) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Harrison Barnes (203-92, college: UNC) added 21 points and 5 assists in the effort for Kings. Five Thunder and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Thunder have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 37-22 record having three points less than leader Toronto R. Kings at the other side keep the third position with 34 games lost. They share it with N.Orleans P.. Thunder will play against league's leader Bucks in Milwaukee in the next day and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will play on the road against Grizzlies in Memphis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
