Regular Season Round 21: Al Wakrah - Al Arabi 71-85

The game between Top Four teams took place in Al Wakrah. Second-best host Al Wakrah (11-5) lost to first ranked Al Arabi (14-2) 85-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Wakrah. Al Arabi players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Algerian forward Mohamed Harath (198-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Bosnian-Serbian power forward Miroslav Todic (205-85) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Al Arabi players scored in double figures. Mohammed Ihab came up with 22 points and 4 assists and American Musa Abdul-Aleem (196-88, college: Troy) added 18 points respectively for Al Wakrah in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al Arabi have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-2 record. Al Wakrah at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Al Shamal.
