Eredivisie top team - Groningen (17-4) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed sixth ranked BA Limburg (8-13) 76-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BA Limburg. Groningen dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to BA Limburg's 26. American forward Donte Thomas (201-96, college: Bradley) stepped up and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Carrington Love (185-94, college: Green Bay, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 15 points and 4 steals. Four Groningen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Trey Burch-Manning (198-95, college: S.Dakota) with 9 points and 7 rebounds and center Roel Aarts (206-93) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Groningen have a solid series of three victories in a row.
