Regular Season Round 32: Boras - Wetterbygden 103-102

Fifth-ranked Wetterbygden (16-14) gave a tough game to first ranked Boras Basket (25-3) on Friday. Boras Basket managed to secure only one-point victory 103-102. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 32-28 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Boras Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Wetterbygden's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Marcus Tyus (185-94, college: Omaha) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 rebounds and Icelandic point guard Elvar Fridriksson (180-94, college: Barry) who added 19 points and 8 assists during the contest. American guard Ty Sabin (190-94, college: Ripon, agency: Duran International) responded with 48 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and American-Ivorian forward Moussa Kone (203-93, college: Hofstra, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Boras Basket and five Wetterbygden players scored in double figures. Boras Basket have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 25-3 record. Wetterbygden at the other side keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost. Boras Basket are looking forward to face Nassjo (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wetterbygden will play against Sodertalje Kings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
