Regular Season Round 24: Chalons-Reims - Limoges 80-81

A very interesting game took place in Reims. It ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Chalons-Reims (9-13) to sixteenth ranked Limoges (6-16) 81-80 on Friday evening. Limoges forced 21 Chalons-Reims turnovers. The winners were led by DR Congolese Yasmin Mambo (205-2) who scored that evening 16 points and 7 rebounds and center Badr Moujib (205-1) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Limoges players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by guard Thomas Duchene (189-0) did not help to save the game for Chalons-Reims. Guard Thomas Pottier (195-99) added 17 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Limoges moved-up to fifteenth place. Chalons-Reims at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Limoges' next round opponent will be league's leader Cholet at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
