Regular Season Round 12: Tsmoki - SSDA 53-60

No shocking result in a game in Minsk where fifteenth ranked Russian SSDA (5-8) won against 23th ranked Belarusian Tsmoki (2-12) 60-53 on Friday. The game without a history. SSDA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tsmoki's 30. Worth to mention a great performance of Yaroslav Osipov who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and Evgeniy Baukin who added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four SSDA players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Maksim Lapko with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Pavel Ilyinchik scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Despite that victory SSDA went down to sixteenth position due to points difference. Tsmoki lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twenty second place with 12 games lost. SSDA will face higher ranked East Ball (#15) in Riga in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tsmoki will play at home against Ogre (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
