We should mention about the upset which took place in , where higher ranked UniFacisa (12-12) lost to sixteenth ranked Pato Basquete (4-18) in a road game 61-71. The winners were led by guard Luis-Gustavo de-Oliveira (190-91) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 assists and the former international point guard George-Yeye Torres (188-91) supported him with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds by center Joao Vitor (213-98) did not help to save the game for UniFacisa. Uruguayan point guard Santiago Vidal (180-89, agency: Pro Sports) added 6 points and 8 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pato Basquete moved-up to fifteenth place. UniFacisa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Pato Basquete's next round opponent will be higher ranked Rio Claro (#12) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
