No shocking result in a game in Moscow where first ranked Estonian SK Nord (13-2) won against 15th ranked Russian SSDA (5-8) 52-38 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by SK Nord. SSDA was better in third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SSDA to just 5 points in second quarter. SK Nord forced 27 SSDA turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Gregor Allik (185-4) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and Johanes Rand who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Evgeniy Baukin with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Yaroslav Osipov scored 4 points and 7 rebounds. SK Nord have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-2 record. SSDA at the other side dropped to the sixteenth place with eight games lost. SK Nord will face DSN (#17) in Riga in the next round which should be an easy win for them. SSDA will play on the road against East Ball in Riga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
