Regular Season Round 123: Phoenix Suns - Golden St.W. 99-115

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Phoenix where 4th placed Suns (24-37) were defeated by fifth ranked Warriors (13-47) 115-99 on Saturday. Warriors dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Suns' 44. Warriors forced 19 Suns turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Suns were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Damion Lee (198-92, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Eric Paschall (203-96, college: Villanova) helped adding 25 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Bahamas center DeAndre Ayton (216-98, college: Arizona) with 20 points and 9 rebounds and French point guard Elie Okobo (188-97) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Suns' coach let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Warriors maintains fifth place with 13-47 record. Suns lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 37 games lost. Warriors will face higher ranked Wizards (#3) in Washington in the next day and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
