Regular Season Round 35: Ura Basket - Kouvot 77-74

A very interesting game took place in Kaarina. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Kouvot (13-20) to tenth ranked Ura Basket (11-22) 77-74 on Saturday evening. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Swingman TreShaun Fletcher (201-94, college: Toledo) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Darious Moten (199-92, college: Mercer) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guard David Gonzalvez (193-87, college: Richmond) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) added 10 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Kouvot. Five Kouvot players scored in double figures. Ura Basket maintains tenth place with 11-22 record. Kouvot lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 20 games lost. Ura Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Pyrinto (#5) in Tampere and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
